Global Focus has made a huge impact in the life of our church. There are two main areas they have helped us improve. One is our involvement in missions. We went from having 35 people involved in short-term missions the year before our partnership to 250 people involved in short-term missions this past year. The second is our giving to missions. We gave $80,000 the year before our partnership with Global Focus, and we gave $270,000 this year. In one year the emphasis and passion for missions has sky rocketed. I thank God for the ministry of Global Focus and their heart for the Kingdom of God.

The entire Global Focus initiative has truly revolutionized our church and the way it looks at doing missions. It has mobilized many in our church who would normally not be involved except in giving. The GIC was the culmination but also the beginning of our Lord taking this community of believers to a totally new realm of service and doing that which God has called us to do. The people of this church have a new vision and renewed vigor to not only give, but to go.

Before our first Global Impact Celebration, the most we have had given to our denomination’s mission offering in a single year was about $3,500 to $4,000. This year, out of our faith commitment offering, we plan to give $100,000 to our denomination’s mission offering. Through our first two quarters of giving to the faith commitment offering this year, we have already given more than twice the yearly amount ever allocated for missions in the general budget. In addition, God has opened up significant strategic partnerships in China, and we are in the process of developing a partnership with a local church in Santiago, Chile. Thanks for all your help; I look forward to working with you more.
